Shriram Properties partners with US-based firms

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) Shriram Properties, a south-based real estate developer, has announced its partnership with two US-based global real estate investment management firms to develop a Rs 5,000 crore integrated township project in Kolkata.

These firms, Walton Street Capital and Starwood Capital Group, are among the leading private US real estate investment firms led by Barry Sternlicht and Neil Bluhm respectively. The trio will work jointly for the execution of the project, the company said here today in a statement.

According to the company, the project will be developed on land that previously belonged to the Hindustan Motors plant in Uttarpara, which will comprise approximately 20 million square feet of residential, retail, office and civic infrastructure.
