Russia, US no closer on missile shield - Kislyak
MOSCOW, Sep 19 (Reuters) Russia and the United States have not moved any closer to agreement on US plans to deploy its missile shield in Europe, local news agencies today quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak, as saying.
'We have held two rounds of talks on the missile defence shield, but I cannot say we have managed to make Russia's position any closer to that of the United States,'' Kislyak was quoted as telling reporters.
He said the next round of talks would be held in October.
