Hooda for speeding up CBI probe against Chautala
Chandigarh, Sep 19 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said he had written to the Prime Minister to get the CBI probe against former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala in a disproportionate assets case expided .
Talking to media persons in the press lobby of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Mr Hooda said CBI, being impartial and most credibile agency, would certainly bring out the truth of the matter.
Regarding the murder of dalit youth Rakesh alias Lara in Gohana recently, he said since the CBI had taken up the probe into the case, the administrative inquiry by the Commissioner Rohtak Division into the matter would be dropped.
Regarding Archives Commissioner Harbaksh Singh who had been reinstated within four days after he was suspended for being absent from a meeting called by the Chief Minister, Mr Hooda said the officer had apologised and, therefore, he had been pardoned on humanitarian grounds.
