Deceased Dinesh's family thanks CM for his assistance

Shimla, Sep 19 (UNI) The family of the deceased child, Master Dinesh, who died on way to hospital on August 29 here due to traffic restrictions during political rallies, met Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here last evening to thank him for his timely financial assistance.

The Chief Minister expressed his condolences to Mr Prem Singh, the grandfather of the child and his parents, saying that he was deeply aggrieved at the untimely demise of their child.

Four-year-old Dinesh, son of Raj Kumar of village Brarta, in tehsil Sarkaghat of Mandi district died without getting proper medical aid after his vehicle was not allowed passage to the IGMC here by police which had blocked traffic due to political rallies in the town.

The tragic demise of the child, widely covered by the media, had created a public uproar.

Congress Seva Dal office bearers of Dharampur constituency of Mandi District also thanked the Chief Minister for giving financial assistance to the bereaved family members.
