BSF labourer dies, boy injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 19 (UNI) A labourer working with the BSF was killed when lightning, struck him while a boy was injured in a road accident and two houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.
He said a labourer, Manzoor Ahmad Chara, working with Border Security Force (BSF) was killed when lightning struck him at Machil.
The body of 20-year-old Chara was handed over to police post Machil by the BSF, he said, adding that proceedings under section 174 CrPc have been initiated.
A vehicle hit and injured a boy Mayar Gulzar Nengroo, at Prichoo in Pulwama district. He was hospitalised.
Two houses and cowshed were gutted in two different fire incidents in the valley, he said.
