Bahubali S Shah elected President of Indian Newspaper Society

Bangalore, Sep 19 (UNI) Mr Bahubali S Shah of Gujarat Samachar, Ahmedabad, has been elected as the President of The Indian Newspaper Society for the year 2007-08 at its 68th Annual General Body Meeting held here today.

He succeeds Mr Hormusji N Cama, Bombay Samachar Weekly, Mumbai.

Mr Paresh Nath (Woman's Era, New Delhi) was elected as Deputy President, Mr T Venkataram Reddy (Deccan Chronicle) will be the Vice President and Mr Rakesh Sharma (Hindustan Times, Patna) the Honorary Treasurer of the Society.

Mr Pawan Chopra was elected the Secretary General.
