Tally launches programme to train students
Kochi, Sep 18 (UNI) In an effort to provide training in Tally financial package, Tally (India) Private Limited has launched a training programme, 'Earn while you Learn,' for students across the country.
Speaking to reporters here today, Company General Manager (Operations) M Chacko Joseph said, 'the programme offers students a chance to be part of the community of competent financial accounting professionals, thereby providing them with an opportunity to work with companies or become entrepreneurs.' He said the programme, launched on September three and aiming to train around 2,50,000 students, would bridge the gap in the demand and supply of Tally professionals.
The students could enroll either in the Tally Financial Accounting Programme or Tally Financial Accounting Certification and get certified through the company's 1000-plus academies across the country, he said.
Mr Joseph said there was immense employment opportunity for Tally professionals in India, Gulf and African countries.
With a market share of 90 per cent in India, Tally had a 50 per cent share in the Gulf and African countries. The product had around two million world-wide users in 90 countries, he added.
As part of its diversification plan, the company would foray into enterprise resource planning (ERP) segment within a year, he added.
