Tally India introduces unique 'Earning while Learning' programme

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) Tally India Private Limited, a leading accounting software provider, today launched 'Pragati', a unique 'Earning While Learning' programme in Bihar and rest of the country to open a new window of job opportunity for the country's educated youths.

Speaking to newpersons after formally launching the scheme in six centres in Patna and as many as 25 across the state through franchise partners, Tally India General Manager Prasoon Parijat said they had targetted to enrol 2,50,000 students in the new programme across the country by December this year.

'' About two million students have so far enrolled themselves in several other time bound accounting related study programmes of the company in different parts of the country and abroad, '' Mr Parijat informed.

Claiming that its innovative training programmes had so far spread me company's wings in as many as 90 countries across the globe having about 1900 centres, Mr Parijat said, however, in terms of seeking enrolment in 'Pragati' they had decided to concentrate only in India, where the total fees for the 95-hour course had been pegged at Rs 5,500 only.

About the company's success in arranging proper placement for students as it claimed to have penetrated into 90 per cent of the Indian accounting software market so far, the General Manager said it was almost 100 per cent for the past few years.

Though Mr Parijat refused to share the company's financial performance and other related details with the media, however, said several crores of rupees from internal acruals had been invested prior to the launch of 'Pragati' this year in terms of overall expansion.

Substantial amount had also been spent for broadbasing the company's pan India presence to acquire world class faculty members and to sign franchaise partnership in different parts of the country.

Moreover, about 5,000 new field staff had been appointed to further improve the business volume, Mr Parijat said.
