No obscene MMS of Monica prepared in Bhopal jail

Bhopal, Sep 18 (UNI) Allegations regarding obscene MMS of underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend Monica Bedi being shot while she was lodged in Bhopal jail for about one year as an undertrial in a forged passport case has been found to be untrue during an inquiry.

Certain newspapers had reported that an obscene MMS of Monica had been shot with the help of hidden cameras in the bathroom. The Madhya Pradesh Congress had also made similar allegations.

Bhopal Collector R K Mathur had handed over the inquiry into the matter to Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shamim Raza in the first week of September.

Ms Raza told UNI here that the inquiry had been completed and report submitted to Additional District Magistrate M B Ojha. She said allegations regarding hidden camera had been found to be untrue.

In their statements, Monica's former co-inmates had denied such things.

She said letters had been sent to mediapersons and Congress spokesperson Manak Agrawal for providing evidence in this regard.

However, no one could produce evidence by the given date on September 10.

However, Mr Agrawal had replied that he would produce evidence before concerned Judicial Magistrate.

Monica was acquitted by a local court in a forged passport case.

Monica had denied such reports as baseless.
