MSEDCL employee in ACB net for accepting bribe
Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) A Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) employee was allegedly caught red-handed by anti corruption bureau sleuths while accepting a bribe in Satana taluka of this district.
Junior technician Bandu Gosavi had allegedly demanded Rs 1500 from a grocer for changing the meter in his shop. The grocer had paid Rs 500 and promised to pay the remaining amount later.
The grocer, meanwhile, lodged a complaint with the ACB whose sleuths laid a trap and caught Gosavi red-handed while accepting the balance amount of Rs 1000 today, ACB sources said.
