Chennai, Sep 18 (UNI) The Kodanadu Panchayat has issued a notice to the administration of a tea estate, allegedly owned by AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa and her close aide Sasikala, asking them to demolish the buildings in the estate constructed by violating the norms.
The notice was issued by Kodanadu Panchayat President M Pon Dhous on September ten.
However, no action had been taken by them till date, he said in a statement last evening.
Ms Jayalalithaa and Ms Sasikala had come to Kodanadu on vacation, were staying in the estate since September 16.
He alleged that the unauthorised construction of the building was the biggest in Nilgiris district and posed a threat to the environment and landscape of Nilgiris.
They had also failed to submit the plan and license particulars of the building to the Panchayat, he added.
