IES/ISS final results declared

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) A total of 35 candidates have been selected for appointment to the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service after they cleared the examination, conducted by the UPSC in November 2006.

The list for the Indian Economic Service contains names of eight candidates, including two belonging to the Other Backward Classes and one each to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes category.

In the list for the Indian Statistical Service, there are names of 27 candidates, including nine from the OBCs and four from the Scheduled Castes.

The list includes a physically challenged candidate.

The candidatures of the Roll Nos 000516 and 004879 are provisional.

UPSC has set up a 'Facilitation Counter' on its campus.
