Harkat-ul-Mujahideen suspect arrested

Police
has
arrested
a
suspected
supporter
of
Harkat-ul-Mujahideen
from
Anand
Vihar
area
of
East
Delhi.
Azad Hilal, accused of harbouring Pakistani HuM militants -- Maksood Ahmed and Syed Mohammad -- in 2001, was arrested last evening from Anand Vihar bus terminus, police said today.
He was on the run for the past six years, police added.
The interrogation of the two militants, from whose possession eight kg RDX, a hand grenade and two detonators were seized, revealed that Hilal has provided them shelter during their stay in Delhi.
Ever since the police had been on the lookout for Hilal, police added.
