Committee set up to coordinate Delhi-Gurgaon road link project
New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) A high level committee headed by Planning Commission Member Secretary of the Planning Commission, has been set up to coordinate the development of new road links between Delhi and Gurgaon.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has given his approval for appointment of the committee, an official statement said today.
It will comprise Secretary, Department of Road Transport and Highways, Finance Secretary and Chief Secretaries of Delhi and Haryana.
The committee will facilitate development and establishment of new road links between Delhi and Gurgaon. It will be free to co-opt other secretaries as and when necessary, the statement said.
