Raj Bhawan employee among 4 killed, 3 injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) An employee of Raj Bhawan was electrocuted while two persons died in a road accident and a body was fished out from dal lake in the Kashmir valley today, official sources said.

They said a senior assistant Chaman Lal Sea, resident of Jammu, was critically wounded due to electric shock at Raj Bhawan.

He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Police have initiated proceedings under section 174 of CrPc.

A body was fished out from Dal lake near hotel Heemal this morning and was taken away by police for identification.

Two people identified as Ghulam Mohammad Wani and Talib Hussain were killed on the spot and three others were injured when they were hit by a tractor at Kachand in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

The injured were hospitalised.

Two houses were gutted in a fire incident at Ganderbal and Batmaloo. The cause of fire was not known.
