Punjab to have country's first NRI police station
Moga, Sep 16 (UNI) In its effort to redress the grievances and problems faced by the NRIs during their temporary stay in Punjab, the state government has decided to set up special police stations for them.
At initial stage one such NRI police station was being established in each police range, Ferozepur Range DIG Ishwar Chander said here today.
He said that the NRI police station for Ferozepur Range, is being setup at Dharamkot for which the site has been selected.
This NRI police station will start functioning from January next year.
