Next to roll out 3,500 outlets, eyes Rs 10,000 cr turnover by 2010

New Delhi, Sept 16 (UNI) NEXT Retail India, a consumer electronics chain, will roll out 3,500 new outlets to reach a target of Rs 10,000 crore turnover over the next three years.

''We will open 15,00 NEXT outlets and 2,000 exclusive TIG (telecom, imaging, gaming) stores covering 200 cities across India in order to touch a turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by 2010,'' Next India Pvt Ltd Assistant General Manager (Sales and Marketing) Narendra Agarwal said.

He said the company, which has 300 NEXT outlets, will open another 100 before the festive season this year and expects sales of Rs 1,600 crore by March 2008.

NEXT deals in air conditioners, televisons, home theatre systems, washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves from Electrolux, HCL, Hyundai, Kelvinator, Kenstar, LG, Nokia, Onida, Philips, Sahara, Samsung, Sansui, Toshiba, Videocon and its own brand Next.
