Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) The Gohana incident is likely to dominated the proceedings on the opening day of the three-day monsoon session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha beginning here tomorrow.
The Gohana incident was sparked off following the murder of a dalit youth last month. The incident led to violence and arson at various places in the state with dalits demanding a CBI inquiry into the murder.
This incident is likely to come handy for the opposion Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) to question the Hooda governments claims on the law and order front.
Another important issue which will figure in the session is the land acquisition policy of the government for SEZs. The other issues are the Yamuna waters agreement of 1994, the power crisis gripping the state and of course the issue of corruption.
A number of bills are also slated to come up for discussion during the session.
