BSF commandant allegedly commits suicide

Coochbehar, Sep 16 (UNI) A Border Security Force (BSF) commandant of the 79 baltalion at the Phoolkadabri border outpost under Coochlibari police station here has allegedly committed suicide.

Mathabhanga Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ananda Ray today said that Assistant Commandant Chander Deosing (55) shot himself with his own service rifle yesterday.

The body had been sent for post mortem to Mathabhanga and the BSF had started investigation, SDPO added.
