Lucknow, Sep 15(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has constituted a high level committee to recommend ways and measures to clear up the pending cases in the High courts and other judiciary of the state.
The six member committee, to be headed by cabinet minister Satish Chandra Mishra, will be comprise Advocate General Jyotindra Mishra, Chief Secretary P K Mishra, Principal Secretary to chief minister Shailesh Krishna and Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Pradeep Dubey.
Principal Secretary Law Mazhar Abbas Abdi will be the member secretary of the committee.
Ms Mayawati, in her directive, said that the poor people are facing several hardship due to the pending cases in the courts, particularly in the High Court, and government was committed to end their woes.
She also urged the advocates and legal experts to help the government in making some decision so that the poor could get fast judgement of their cases.
