'Puducherry BJP will fare well in next polls'
Puducherry, Sep 15 (UNI) Former Union Minister and in charge of BJP affairs in Puducherry Dhananjay Kumar today exuded confidence that the party local unit would fare well in the next elections.
Addressing a press conference here last night, he said there was great scope for the party in the Union Territory as it was taking up local issues like the JIPMER issue and the problems of the elected local body representatives.
Mr Kumar said a two-day workers training camp of the BJP Puducherry unit would be organised in October.
Asked about the six-year suspension of six senior party workers, he said it was the internal affairs of the party and the party would take initiatives to sort out the problem.
