Army to hold recruitment rally from Sept 26 in Rohtak

Chandigarh, Sept 15 (UNI) Indian Army will hold a recruitment rally from September 26-30 at Sir Chottu Ram Stadium, Rohtak.

While giving the details, the Director, Army Recruitment Office, Rohtak, Col D K Deshmukh said that the recruitment for General Duty candidates of Jhajhar district would be held on September 26 while for the candidates of Panipat and Sonipat districts on September 27 and for post of Clerk on September 28, for the candidates belonging to the Jhajhar, Rohtak, Sonipat and Panipat districts.

He said that the recuritment for GD and Clerk for the candidates of Ex- serviceman, in service army person, children of war widows and NCC certificate holder would be held on September 28 while on September 29 the recruitment for G D of candidates belonging to the Rohtak and Sampla tehsil and on September 30 for GD of candidates belonging to Meham and Kalanaur.

He said that the age for GD would be between 17 to 21 years and for Clerk between 17 to 23 years. The candidate for GD should have passed 10th with minimum 45 per cent marks or plus two and for Clerk the candidate should have passed 10+2 with 50 per cent marks.

He further said that written test would be conducted for GD candidates on October 28 and for Clerk on November 25 who had passed physical and medical test at Chhotu Ram Stadium, Rohtak.

He said that Brig J.S. Maan of Ambala Zone Recruitment Headquarter would be present on this occasion.

The recruitment would be purely based on merit, he added.
