Rajputs to hold demonstration at the assembly

Jaipur, Sep 14 (UNI) 'Karni Sena', an outfit, spearheading campaign for OBC status for Rajput, Brahmin and Rajpurohit communities, will hold a demonstration outside the state assembly here on September 24.

Karni Sena vice president Rajbir Singh Ganganagar told reporters here that this programme would be part of the organisation's ongoing campaign to press for the demand.

He said that the organisation would also seek support of MLAs from the Rajput community for participation in the demonstration.

Expelled BJP MLA Surendra Singh Rathore, who also addressed the press conference, said that he had already extended support to the programme.

The organisation would also hold a huge rally in Jaipur in December to press for the demand.
