Murder case: House of APCC ex-Chief's son raided

Hyderabad, Sep 14 (UNI) The officials of CB-CID, probing the alleged murder of realtor Prashant Reddy, today raided the house of former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Chief Keshava Rao's son Venkat, who was booked in connection with the case.

Police said the CB-CID officials raided the house and recovered some documents pertaining to Venkat, who allegedly shot Reddy dead at his house on September 9.

The officials also grilled Venkat's wife Divya and house servant Nagamani in connection with the murder.

Meanwhile, a local court reserved orders on the petition filed by the CID seeking his custody.

Prashant Reddy was shot dead at Venkat's house under suspicious circumstances, police said. The state government had handed over the case to CB-CID, immediately after his arrest. Keshava Rao had resigned from the post of PCC chief, following the incident,it added.
