Ajmera to invest Rs 400 cr on housing projects

Bangalore, Sep 14 (UNI) Ajmera Housing Corporation, a subsidiary of Mumbai-based Ajmera Group, one of India's premier real estate developers will invest over Rs 400 crore to create over 5 million sq ft of space in the city, Company Director Dhaval Ajmera said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the Group had already undertaken two apartment projects in the city. It was all set to start another housing project, 'Ajmera Infinity' at Neeladhri on the sprawling 18 acres near Electronic City here.

The housing project near the Electronic City, the hub of IT activity in the country, was being promoted on the concept of 'Walk to Work' as it would stand next to all the big software companies including Infosys, Wipro, Satyam and others, Mr Ajmera said.

About the future projects, he said the Group had been planning a high-end apartment project with four to five bedrooms strapped with exclusive swimming pool.

The project would come up between Banasawadi and H S R Layout, he added.
