JOHANNESBURG, Sep 13 (Reuters) The Twenty20 World Cup match between the West Indies and Bangladesh was delayed today due to over-watering of the Wanderers pitch.
An International Cricket Council spokesman said umpires would inspect the pitch again at (1400 IST), half-an-hour after the scheduled start, with a view to beginning the match at 11 a.m.
The West Indies, who lost their opening match against hosts South Africa, need to beat Bangladesh to remain in the tournament.
