Another temblor hits western Indonesia, triggering tsunami alert
Bangkok, Sep 13 (UNI) A second strong earthquake struck Indonesia's western Sumatra region for the second successive day early today triggering another tsunami alert.
The U S Geological Survey rated today's temblor at 7.5 on the Richter scale and located it some 200 km from Bengkulu city on Sumatra island.
According to reports from Indonesia, experts said today's earthquake was not an aftershock but a different earthquake to the 8 plus magnitude temblor that struck the same area yesterday evening.
