today
extended
WebEx
plug-in
for
Yahoo
Messenger
to
enable
instant
messaging
(IM)
for
users
to
'co-browse'
and
view
a
website
together
via
the
popular
IM
client.
No longer users would have to email or IM web links back and forth, a press release said.
It stated that the free plug-in provides end-users with the ability to simultaneously view and collaborate on web searches perfect for online shopping, party planning and picture viewing.
WebEx Communications India Managing Director, Kiran Datar said, "WebEx is always looking for new ways to enable people to collaborate and embrace the Web 2.0 revolution. With the WebEx co-browsing plug-in, we are extending that reach beyond meetings and training into the everyday instant messaging session".
