New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) Bindass, the UTV's General Entertainment Channel (GEC) for youths, set to be launched on September 24 would be available on Tata Sky-the Joint Venture direct to home service by TATA Group and STAR, it was announced today.
Bindaas, the first manifestation of Brand Bindass aimed at youths, will be launched by UTV on September 24 across Television, internet, mobile and cafes.
The CEO of Bindass, Zarina Mehta, said the platform of Tata Sky, that offers its subscribers over 120 television channels and interactive services in DVD quality picture and CD quality sound, would enable the company to reach out effectively to their target audience- the youth.
Laid on the foundation of a comprehensive proprietary research conducted by UTV on the Indian youth and its entertainment needs, Brand Bindass and its manifestation in form of the Hindi GEC 'Bindass', is aimed at a target audience in the age bracket of 15 to 34 years.

On its part, TATA Sky expressed happiness over the adding of Bindass into its channel basket.

Tata Sky offers its subscribers, over 120 television channels and besides other interactive services.

Brand Bindass, a UTV venture, is India's first local 360-degree entertainment youth brand, that will be launched across television channels, mobile, web, gaming, merchandising, retail and nation wide ground events.
The initial rollout will be with the launch of Bindass - a Hindi General Entertainment Channel for Young India. Programming of Bindass will reflect the brand values with focus on genres like action, comedy and thriller.
Brand Bindass will also be present in the virtual world with 'www.bindass.com', a platform for online users to connect with the brand, its values as well as our on-air shows; 'www.lagegi.com', India's first comedy portal, created for the driver show, Lagegi.
This website will eventually be a stand-alone online comedy destination for young India.
