TN: Advani Peravai held for blocking trains

Pudukkottai, Sep 12: Members of the Tamil Nadu Advani Peravai were taken into custody by the police today when they attempted to obstruct the movement of trains at the Railway station here.

Led by Peravai state secretary Palaniappan, the protesters were demanding immediate operation of direct train services between Karaikudi and Chennai, police said.
