Students protest ill-treatment to girl pupil
Aligarh, Sep 12 (UNI) The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) today witnessed the wrath of students alleging ill-treatment to a girl student.
The mob reached Abdulla College, affiliated to AMU, and staged violent protests, besides vandalising the Vice Chancellor's (VC) office.
They alleged a student of Abdulla College was ill-treated on Saturday, but no action was initiated against the accused.
Meanwhile, AMU VC Abdul Aziz suspended three menial staff, apart from Sultania Hostel's provost and warden.
Police in strength had been deployed to prevent fresh violence.
