Muslim employees can leave office at 1600 hrs during Holy Month

Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has permitted all Muslim government employees, including teachers, to leave offices at 1600 hrs on all working days during the Holy Month of Ramzan from September 14 to October 13.

This was to perform necessary rituals, except when their presence was required due to exigencies of services during the said period.

The Government had taken this decission following the representations made by the leaders of Musilm community, according to a release.
