Mid term polls by February next year: Javadekar
Jaipur, Sep 12: The BJP today said differences between the ruling UPA and the Leftists were deepening and the country was heading for mid-term Lok Sabha polls by the beginning of 2008.
Addressing a press conference here today the party Spokesman Prakash Javadekar said that it seemed that in view of deepening differences and deadlock within ruling UPA-Left combine, the mid term Lok Sabha elections were nearing fast.
Mr Javadekar said that elections were likely to be held sometimes in January or February next year.
He said that national security related aspects of the Indo-US nuclear deal, rising incidences of terrorism and pro muslim approach of the UPA Government are likely to be major poll issues.
