Hooda urges Cong workers to contribute to party fund

Chandigarh, Sep 12 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today urged Congress office bearers and party legislators to contribute to the party fund as per the report of the Dr Manmohan Singh committee.

He made this appeal at the general body meeting of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee which was first such meeting after Mr Phool Chand Mullana and Mr Kuldeep Sharma assumed their respective offices of president and working president respectively, Mr Hooda said urged the presidents of block and district units of the party to hold meetings of the workers in their respective areas so as to redress their grievances and further strengthen the party.

Mr Hooda called upon the workers of the party to publicise the policies and programmes of the Government.

Mr Hooda said that he would write to the Ministers urging them to visit the offices of the Congress party in the state and hold meetings with the workers of the party to redress their grievances.

He said that any worker of the party could meet him for redressal of his or her grievances.

Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Phool Chand Mullana said his aim was to strengthen the party upto the village level.

Mr Mullana said state ministers would visit the party offices and for this purpose a roster would be prepared.
