Ahmedabad, Sep 12 (UNI) Sindhi cinegoers, yearning for a film in their own language, can take heart as ''Pyar Kare Dis (Feel the Power of Love)'' is set for a theatrical release on September 14.
Besides the theatrical release, the film is all set for an online release too on the same day. ''Pyar Kare Dis'', incidentally, is the first Sindhi film to be released after a long hiatus of six years.
The movie can be downloaded by logging on to www.sunicofilms.com, the official website of Sunico Productions (India) Limited, ''Pyar Kare Dis'' director Kamal D Nathani, who was here on a visit for promotion of his film, told UNI. ''Viewers can also place order for DVD/VCD of the movie through the portal,'' Mr Nathani said.
The music of the movie has already hit the market with ''Ghazal'' maestro Jagjit Singh along with GenX heartthrob Shaan, Roop Kumar Rathod and Richa Sharma having lent their voice to the songs composed by Ghansham Vaswani. Shilpa Vaswani and Sadaa Thakur have also lent their voices, Mr Nathani said. The songs have been penned by well-known Sindhi poets Prabhu Vafa and Vasdev Nirmal.
The choreographer of the film is Rajeev Dinkar, while the story is by Kamal Nathani.
The film has been produced by Denmark-based M Harwani, who had earlier produced ''Pyar Ka Tarana'' with legendary actor-director Dev Anand.
Mr Harwani has promised to produce at least two to three Sindhi films every year, and his next Sindhi film would be ''Sindhi Rocks'' portraying the modern lifestyle of Sindhi youth. It will be shot in Dubai and Copenhagen, Mr Nathani informed.
''Pyar Kare Dis'' features Preeti Jhangiani in a special appearance. Among the actors are Jiten Lalwani, Menka Lalwani, Vishal Watwani, Meheck, Neeru Asrani, Seema Motwani, Jaya Asrani, Prakash Ramchandani, Mayuri Raghani, Gunjan Thawrani, Laxman Sachdev, S C Makhija and world-famous Sindhi ballet dancer Anila Sunder.
