BSE signs MOU with ICSI; to launch training courses for CS

Mumbai, Sep 12 (UNI) In order to create awareness among the corporates and educate their Company Secretaries, Asia's oldest bourse, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) here today.

The MoU, aimed at educating the Company Secretaries, will mutually beneficial relationship, enabling BSE to offer a wide range of programmes and investor awareness seminars for its stakeholders, said BSE CEO and Managing Director Dr Rajnikant Patel.

The BSE, that has been undertaking various training and awareness programmes through the BSE Training Institute, will now organise training programmes for company secretaries, Dr Patel said.

Speaking on the occasion, ICSI President Ms Preeti Malhotra said, ''BSE and ICSI will create NextGen capital and financial market professionals by virtue of the MoU signed today''.
