4th regional round for Amaron Karting Challenge on Sep 15

Mumbai, Sep 12 (UNI) The fourth regional rounds for the prestigious ''Amaron Karting Challenge-2007'' will be flagged off at Commander Shirke Hakkone Karting Track, Hiranandani Business Park, Powai here on September 15.

The three regional rounds of the Karting challenge at Chennai, Bangalore and Kolhapur, witnessed high level of excitement and energy among the young racers striving to feature in the top three qualifiers for the grand finale. The qualifiers from the final leg of the ''Amaron Karting Challenge 2007'' of Chennai, Kolhapur, Bangalore, Mumbai and Goa will move onto the grand finale to be held at Goa on October 27 and 28, a release issued here today stated.

Over 500 registered enthusiastic participants aged between 13 and 17 years will be taking on this Karting challenge. These young hopefuls will have none other than Armaan Ebrahim, the winner of the prestigious Formula Renault V6 Asia Championship in Sentul, Indonesia, present to cheer the participants, the release added.

The winners will get to be a part of the prestigious Amaron Karting Scholarship Programme which will prepare them for the future.

The Winner of the Grand Finals meanwhile will earn a scholarship berth in the Amaron Karting team in 2008 to take part in the JK Tyre Rotax Max Challenge and the Indian National Rotax Max Championship, the release added.
