No diff of opinion on transfer of power: HDK

Shimoga, Karnataka, Sep 3: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said that there was no difference of opinion in handing over power to coalition partner BJP on October 3rd.

Speaking after inaugurating Government Medical College here said "that the doubts were creation of the media and there was no difference of opinion between JD(S) and BJP regarding handing over power as agreed while assuming power' Stating that there was no politics involved in the appointment of Mr Merajuddin Patel as the JD(S) State President, Mr Kumaraswamy appealed to the media and public not to mix the issue with handing over of power to BJP.

Reacting strongly to a statement of former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Mr Kumaraswamy alleged that he (Mr Siddharamaiah) presented budget for seven times during his tenure as Finance Minister and wasted valuable time in laying the foundation stones only. He never bothered about the improvement of the state, Chief Minister lamented.

He said that the present co-alition government will continue and completes full period without any hurdles.

He said that the Shimoga Medical college will be converted into Healthcare Centre in the comming days. State government has decided to establish such four Centers one each in four Divisions on par with "Narayana Hrudayalaya" of Bangalore.
