Syndicate Bank signs MoU with UAE Exchange Centre

Bangalore, Aug 27 (UNI) Syndicate Bank today entered into an agreement with UAE Exchange Center, Abudhabi, to provide quality, speedy and safe remittance facilities.

Bank Chairman and Managing Director C P Swarnkar signed the agreement with UAE Exchange Center, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr Bavaguthu Raghuram Shetty here.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Swarnkar said this new alliance with UAE Exchange Center opens another convenient and cost effective channel for the Indian exporters to remit money to their near and dear in India.

Syndicate Bank would provide necessary support and the Indian diaspora in UAE would enjoy the benefits of the Bank products, including 'Syndicat-e-remit', 'Syndicat-e-draft' and 'Syndicate MT' at a very competative prices.

Mr Swarnkar said the Bank, in an attempt to make rapid strides, had adopted various strategies, including expanding the clientele base, increasing the Core-Banking Solution to all its branches and introducing 'synd smart card' providing doorstep banking facility.
