Talking to newspersons here, Mr Singh said the SIT was grilling four persons including Dubai based Alkaz Obaid Khamis Ali, who were arrested in connection with Rs 2.60 crore counterfeit currency racket busted by the city police on the same day of the blasts.
He said ''we have some doubts on the four arrested persons who have alleged links with the ISI and Dawood gang. Police will get some clues from the four accused in the interrogation''.
Stating that SIT was appointed under the leadership of Central Crime Station (CCS) Additional Commissioner Punna Rao to investigate the blasts case, he said the chemical analysis of explosives confirmed that 'Neojel 90' was used in the blasts.
He said experts were also conducting a study of comparision of the explosives used in the twin blasts and the Mecca Masjid blasts on May 18. The study with regard to explosives can provide clues about terrorist organisation connected with the violent acts.
