India not in world's 'truly corrupt' list
New Delhi, Aug. 27: According to Forbes, though corruption is still on a high, India has managed to bootstrap itself out of the truly corrupt group list.
In the Global Corruption Index, prepared in accordance with a survey of 133 nations conducted by Transparency International, India stood 83rd in the world, alongside Malawi and Romania, when, last year it was at position 71, in a list of 102 nations.
