German MNC to launch production centre in Patna

Patna, Aug 27 (UNI) Bihar has successfully lured Multi-National Corporations(MNCs) to make Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) in the state as Germany-based MNC Biobase decided to launch its production and training centre in Patna.

CEO of the corporation Michael Tysiak was here in the city yesterday with the blueprint of the project. He has discussed the details of the project with the representatives of Science and Technology department of Bihar government.

When approached, one of the representatives of Science and Technology department told UNI that Biobase has its office in Bangalore and it was keen on expanding its base across the country.

Setting up its production and training centre in the state would definitely boost the image of the state for the reason, a top knowledge product is going to set up a base in Bihar, he added.

The German MNC in association with the Science and Technology department would set up an academy for researh work in biotechnology where 30 selected students from the state would be trained in biological database.
