FM snubs Naidu's demand for CM resignation
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (UNI) Snubbing Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu's demand for the resignation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, owning moral responsibility over Saturday's twin blasts in the city, State Finance Minister K Rosaiah sought to know why Mr Naidu had not stepped down from office after an attempt was made on his life at Alipiri near Tirupati in 2004.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Rosaiah questioned why Mr Naidu had not resigned when naxals killed his cabinet colleague A Madhava Reddy in a bomb attack.

the
government
was
trying
to
enhance
security
measures,
Mr
Rosaiah
advised
the
Opposition
Leader
to
show
restraint
at
in
this
''hour
of
crisis.''
