CM anounces compensation to blast victims from Maharashtra
Mumbai, Aug 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has announced a compensation of Rs two lakh to the next-of-kin of the victims from the state who were killed in Hyderabad blast.
Ten people from Maharashtra, comprising of seven students and three professors from the Amrutvahini Engineering College in Ahmednagar district, had been killed in the blasts. These students hailed from Mumbai, Thane, and Pune districts apart from Ahmednagar.
The state government has also announced an aid of Rs 50,000 each to the injured persons.
