Bangalore, July 26: Subex Azure Ltd, a leading vendor of OSS solutions for telecom operators, today announced a revenue of Rs 131.65 crore (32.42 million US Dollar) for the quarter ending 30 June, 2007 as against Rs 43.56 crore (10.73 million USD) in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The revenue from products stood at Rs 100.4 million (24.73 mn USD) ,indicating a 377.33 per cent rise from Rs 21.03 crore (5.18 mn USD) in same period last year.

The contribution to total revenue for FY 2007-08 Q1 from products was 76.27 per cent, the company said in a release here.

From services, the revenues for the period stood at Rs 31.23 crore (7.69 mn USD), up 38.66 per cent from Rs 22.53 crore (5.55 mn USD) in FY 2006-07 Q1. The contribution to total revenue for FY 2007-08 Q1 from services was 23.73 per cent.

The company had been focusing on acquiring Syndesis in the first quarter. This resulted in resources being deployed on integration activities, leading to deferment in the execution of some projects.

The deferment depressed product revenue which, otherwise, would have been higher.

This deferment was a temporary phenomenon and would be corrected in the subsequent quarters. It would not have any long term impact.

Commenting on the business, Founder-Chairman, Managing Director and CEO Subash Menon said, ''Post the Syndesis acquisition, the industry has positively acknowledged the expansion of our product offerings which now include Fulfillment and Assurance solutions, taking us one step closer to our goal of becoming one of the leading OSS players in the world.''
