Three killed in collision

Anand, July 25 (UNI) Three persons were killed on the spot and 5 others injured after two trucks collided near Sudan Patia village in the district today.

Police said the trucks, filled with metals, collided head-on on Borsad-Vasad road at 1300 hrs this afternoon, killing both the truck drivers on the spot. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.

The deceased have been identified as Aziz Pathan (30) and Kanubhai Shankarbhai Parmar (45), while the identity of the third person is yet to be ascertained, police added.
