Rupee opens weaker at 40.26/28 per dollar
Mumbai, July 25: Rupee started trade a bit weaker today at 40.26/28 per dollar against the previous close of 40.25/26.
The unit later went down to an intra-day low of 40.34 per dollar, at which it is currently trading, dealers said.
Dealers attributed the dip in currency value to the weak trading in Bourses witnessed in the early session today.
Rupee had touched a fresh nine year peak of 40.2050 during the intr-day trade on Tuesday.
