Rashid crowned Sunfeast Northern India Junior Golf champion

Lucknow, July 6 (UNI) Delhi's Rashid Khan cruised to a comfortable three-stroke win in the senior Category 'A' of the Sunfeast Northern India Junior-Sub Junior Golf Championship here today.

Jaipur's Amanjyot Singh finished second at 288 after shooting a final round 70 while B Category winner Khalin Joshi brought in a card of two-over 74 to finish overall third at 294.

Ashbir Saini finished second in B Category after carding a 73 today. His four day tally stood at 297. Chandigarh's Raghav Bhandari shot an 80 to finish third at 314.

In Category 'C' Tarundeep Singh Chadha carded an impressive four-over 76 to post a one stroke win over Rahul Ravi who shot an 82 today. Sumeir Malhotra grabbed the third place after carding a final round 86.

In the junior-most Category 'D' local boy Vidit Singh romped home to a 19 stroke win over Piyush Sangwan. Vidit finished with a tournament tally of 231 after carding a final round 76 while Sangwan shot an 84. Jairaj Singh Sandhu finished third at 259 after shooting an 82.
