NCP to work towards communal and social harmony in Goa
Panaji, May 22 (UNI) NCP Secretary Tariq Anwar today said his party would work towards communal and social harmony in the ensuing June 2 elections in Goa.
Speaking to mediapersons at NCP office here, he said his party is contesting six seats in alliance with Congress and the alliance would give them political advantage in six constituencies.
''We have no differences and are very muuch united and happy with the UPA government at the Centre,'' he said.
Asked about BJP's demand for restoration of POTA, he said that POTA was not the only solution to stop terrorism.
