Sirsa, May 22 (UNI) An all-religion delegation today called on Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to resolve the crisis over his alleged act of projecting himself as Guru Gobind Singh even as a complete bandh was observed in the city by Sikh organisations.

The Sarv-Dharma Sabha delegation from Delhi, including Swami Agnivesh, was holding consultations with Dera chief to end the strife between the Sikh activists and Dera followers over the issue in the wake of the Akal Takht edict against the commune.

Sources said the four-member delegation first had talks with the Dera management in a city hotel and then came to the Dera to hold talks with its chief. The other members of the delegation were Jain Muni Lokesh Prakash, Maulana Jamal Ahmad Ilyasi and Father Phillip.

The consultations to find a way out of the present deadlock between the Akal Takht and the Dera were still on when the last reports came in.

While the Takht had demanded an apology from the Sacha Sauda chief for his ''blasphemous'' act, the Dera had not agreed to it and maintained that it had already expresed regrets over the issue.

The Dera management was maintaining secrecy about the ongoing talks with the Sarv-Dharma Sabha delegation.

Meanwhile, a total bandh was observed in Sirsa and various Sikh organisations tookout a peaceful procession in the town to protest against the alleged anti-Sikh activities of the Dera.
